Check alternator is all tight, all the wires going to and fromare clean and tight, have a look at the earth, from engine to chassis, or better still, fit your own new one, see how that affects the dash lights.
have you had the dash out recently, the multi plugs on the back of these are buggers for staying in as you try to refit the dash.

Usual result of introducing the alternator to deep water Check voltages and keep an eye on it cos it will dump you with flat batteries soon

Not so much deep water but constant water with having problems with thermastat what is the normal going rate for a alternator or price for reconditioning

Just got one from Milners for £166 If you have a twin belt one then you have to change the pulley over

I checked battery voltage today with meter and with engine running it was 11.70 volts obviosly alternater is stuffed but why is the alternater light not coming on only a flash off the other lights?   ???and yes the bulb is ok!!!

Probably because youve just caught it before it stuffs your batteries. ive just replaced mine at £50 each.. which is not too bad. At the moment the weather is not too bad its quite mild, cold weather puts extra strain on the batterys. its only a matter of time  there seems to be a spate of knackered alts at the moment.
