Hi,
I am on the look out for a 2.8 lwb pajero, I've seen some real sad looking ones recently.
BUT what I have noticed, with the ones I've seen is that alot of the owner's have different idea's about how to engage the 4wd.
The last one I viewed, he said you engage 4wd while driving along ( just take foot of accel pedal & move stick ) - is this CORRECT.
Also when trying to put back into 2wd the front wheel dash lamps, kept flashing. He tried reversing abit BUT still couldn't turn them off. After driving for quite a while they finaly went out.
I used to work at a Mitsubishi agents as TECH, but seem to remember you had to stop the vehicle to select 4wd ( it was about 10 years ago and I'm now a VOLVO Master Tech ).
Hence to say I never bought this car.
engaging 4wd while driving along is ok, 4wd high up to 60 mph - yes is correct. The flashing lamps are very common, usually reversing normally sorts it. If engaging locking the diff i always do it on slippery surface, select neutral on the auto box then make the adjustment on the 4wd box, then back into it drive, usually 2nd or L!
Works for me

Anybody know of any decent Pajero's up for sale around the Liverpool area???
Thanks SCOUSE.
